Fender USA Standard Stratocaster mint condition

Mint condition version (most recent) of the Fender USA Standard Stratocaster in Olympic White. Plays and sounds just as you'd hope. No marks, no modifications, no defects and everything included as new minus the cardboard box and scratch-plate sticker. There's even some of the protective scratch-plate plastic cover under the tone/volume pots. In my opinion this is the best colour to compliment the rosewood neck and aged pickup covers and control knobs. Under those covers and slotted into the alder body are the Fender Custom Shop Fat 50s pickups. The neck is extremely playable with 22 medium jumbo frets. At the business end the two point synchronized tremolo bridge and vintage steel sandles give it a great look but also allow for liberal use of the tremolo arm without causing big tuning headaches. I've used Bigsby systems on Gretsch and Fender guitars and had all sorts of issues but this is very low maintenance. Purchased for a more playable neck than my telecaster but it's only been used at a couple of function band rehearsals and home practice while I was finishing my single coil project guitar. This is a much better guitar and in all honesty sounds better but the other has sentimental value and I've got my eye on a Supro amp. This guitar retailed for £ when is was released which makes this price in this condition a no brainer. Besides, do you know anyone that's ever regretted buying a USA Strat? USA Fender Stratocaster & USA Squier Stratocaster electric guitars

Fender Stratocaster made at Corona plant, USA in (comparatively) rare natural finish. Full working condition with no particular damage (there is a slight scuff on the top of the headstock as per picture 4) and plays very nicely - good stratty tones and you'd expect. Only very minor fretwear as is consumerate with the age. I also have the 'matching' (aesthetically at least) natural finish USA made Squier (that isn't a mistake - Squier made guitars in USA for a year between and due to factory reorganisation). This guitar is mostly original although it has had the body changed for a natural 'Squier' made body (but not USA made - believed to be far eastern) and also the pickup covers have been swapped out for black ones. This guitar is not in as good condition as the USA Fender above and shows a few knocks on the body and neck and is missing a pickguard screw. On the plus side it does have a lovely flaming on the grain of the neck - something you don't generally see on the modern Squiers. Both guitars come as pictured, neither have a case or a whammy bar. As is usually the case with a secondhand guitar, the buyer may wish to have the guitar set up although I would say that it is only the Squier that is in need of set up at this stage. USA Fender Stratocaster S1.. Excellent Condition c/w Whammy, Book & Hiscox Hard Case.

Here for sale my S1 Strat.. and only selling because I can't do this guitar any justice any more.. Arthritis has spoiled my fun sadly so it's Bass for me from now on. As you can see this guitar is in excellent condition.. just one little 'ding' on the back of the front strap position. There are two Noiseless Pickups which are just superb.. but for me the most impressive feature of this guitar is the 'ball bearing' headstock bridge which allows extremely low action ! The S1 switch is incorporated within the Volume Knob.. a simple push on the centre of the knob changes the tone which can be preset. There is also a Button located between the Tone Knobs.. pressing this directs the electronics directly to the Bridge Pickup for instant Lead Mode.. very handy ! The guitar is fitted with Fender/Schaller Locking Keys.. no string 'slippage' with these !:).. A Hiscox hard case is included.. but I guess its not the case that matters.. it's what in it eh.. and this really is a special bit of kit !! Right.. so.. what do I want for this guitar ?.. I think £ is reasonable considering the guitar itself, the features on it and the excellent condition.
