The body is a two-piece alder crafted to Fender’s own specification and finished in Fiesta Red by Northwest Guitars. These are manufactured as near to Fender’s specifications as possible and are compatible with original Fender parts. Northwest Guitars also spend a lot of time on their colours; especially the early 50's ones like this one in Fiesta Red to ensure aesthetic authenticity. The neck is in beautiful birds eye maple as was Hank’s original guitar, and was crafted by WD Music who are licensed by Fender. (It does have a Fender decal on the headstock but it is NOT A FENDER). The white scratch plate and electrics are by Sky Pickups of Korea. The guitar has been constructed with gold coloured hardware to emulate the complete Hank Marvin look. Here we have for sale is a Fender American Standard Stratocaster in Chrome Red which is a great little player! The overall condition is good throughout with a few small knicks to the finish but as you can see nothing major, the bridge pickup has been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan JB59 Junior which sounds awesome also it comes with the original Fender hard case. All the hardware and frets are in very good condition with little wear, the neck is nice and straight and has a nice low buzz free action. This guitar is in mint condition except for two very small screw holes in the scratch plate where a Roland guitar synth pickup was fitted. I have decided to leave the holes in case someone wants to re-fit a Roland pickup. However, if two small chrome screws are fitted it will look perfect.
