I have this really cool Fender Strat/partscaster for sale,, it is built from genuine Fender parts, no expence has been spared on this, The body is solid Alder and originally started life as a Squier made in Korea, the neck if from a squier also, both parts are first class and fit together perfectly. The body is totally original the marks n dings ect are from natural long term gigging I Sanded off the thick polycoat as it was getting to look pretty shabby and the dings were getting sharp. It has been sanded and finished to a high standard. The pickguard is 100% usa 3ply pearloid, with 500k pot's and a set of superb genuine Fender noiseless pickups.Great bluesy sound.And it has a genuine 60s re issue Fender bridge, with genuine Fender stamped bent steel saddles. The neck has been sanded back, fret polished and thoroughly cleaned, it has had a set of genuine Vintage style Fender Kluson tuners fitted. Relic Fender Strat project

This was a project build of spare parts I've accumulated that I no longer have time to finish. It's quite playable as is, but the 5 way switch crackles when changing pups so needs replacing and the nut isn't quite the right size so could do with another one. A good setup (and maybe a fret dress) would finish it off. Body and bridge is from god knows what, it's pretty light and heavily "relic'd" (not by me!). The neck is a USA strat copy and pretty decent (it's nice and straight and frets are quite good, which is what counts). The tuners are genuine Fender Japan (couldn't tell you the age), the back plate is genuine Fender USA. Pickups are from a Squire 50's strat limited edition and sound really great. The 3rd pot is wired to blend pickups and adds great variety to the tones. Plugged in this sounds and plays quite decent as is, but it needs finishing to be a standard I'd consider gigging with. Fender Jaguar Relic Electric Guitar, Mexican, Fender locking tuners, Bigsby style tremolo

This is a Mexican made Fender Jaguar Classic Player which I've owned and loved playing for over seven years or thereabouts. Reluctantly I'm offering it for sale because just lately I've realised all I'm doing is taking it down off the wall, dusting it, reminiscing and hanging it back up. It's time someone else had some fun with it. It looks like it's lived in the corner of a damp shed all its life and you'd be forgiven for thinking it won't even tune up, let alone play. But it plays just fine, has a good action, holds its tune rock solid - thanks to the Fender locking tuners which are a big improvement on the ones it came with. The 'road-worn' look was achieved over a long period of time whilst the guitar was entirely dismantled, with a methodical electrolysis process worked on all the metal panels and careful ageing of the pickguard, volume and tone knobs, pickup covers, etc. The solid alder body (originally sprayed candy apple red) was stripped down to bare wood and first of all sprayed orange which didn't look particularly fitting. So it was stripped back again to bare wood and coated in a sand colour - quite similar to some Telecasters. As far as I'm aware, Fender Jaguars were never sprayed this colour. But this one is. Another alteration is the tremolo. I got fed up with the Fender tremolo a few years ago (it isn't much to write home about) and replaced it with a Bigsby style tremolo which gives a much greater range and holds its tune a lot better. I kept the old one though, and it could be fitted back without too much trouble. Just bear in mind it isn't really anywhere near as good, sound wise. But for a more authentic look, I can understand why the old tremolo might be to some people's preference. All in all, it's a knackered looking guitar that actually isn't knackered, it's full of beans underneath all that rust and muck... If you're after something to make heads turn when you're playing live, this might be it. Everything works as it should, I'm throwing in a fairly new Levi's guitar strap because it's a spare one hanging round and the old army bag strap strangling it at the minute is a bit trying on the shoulder after an hour or three.   Heavy relic maple strat neck 80s vintage

Bit of a mystery neck here. Some real relicing and some looks purposefully done. Doubt its real fender but the logo is very well done and looks the real deal and its very well made with nice wood. Frets have a fair bit of wear.... some life in them still but they could do with attention judge from the pic. Holes are plugged ready for drilling for a new body. I have no doubt this is from the 80s but i know little else. Bought it for a project that never happened. Neck is nice and straight. Great for a relic project.
