This is a Squier VM Jazzmaster NOT a 'proper' Fender. It's in great condition save for a single chip on the back - please see accompanying photos.  The mods are as follows:  - The headstock has been painted with Olympic White poly to match the body, and a spaghetti Fender '59 decal applied OVER the lacquer to make it pre CBS vintage correct (just like the American vintage reissue series)  - the Made in Indonesia inscription has been sanded off the back of the headstock and it's been re-lacquered  - the neck has been slightly shimmed to increase the break angle over the bridge   - the pickup covers have been sanded over to remove the duff DUNCAN DESIGNED business  It is currently set up with.10s with a relatively low action, but obviously set it up however you wish. This is a Squier VM Jaguar, NOT a 'proper' Fender. It's in virtually NEW condition and very shiny indeed.  The mods are as follows:  1. It's been properly shielded with aluminium foil AND paint to help eliminate microphonic feedback and hum.  2. The headstock has been painted with Candy Apple Red poly to match the body, and a Fender '62 decal applied OVER the lacquer to make it pre CBS vintage correct (just like the American vintage reissue series)  3. The Made in Indonesia inscription has been sanded off the back of the headstock and it's been re-lacquered  4. The neck has been slightly shimmed to increase the break angle over the bridge   5. The pickup covers have been sanded over to remove the duff DUNCAN DESIGNED business  6. The pickups have been wax potted to further eliminate screechiness and unfavourable feedback.  It is currently set up with.10s with a relatively low action, but obviously set it up however you wish. Hi I am selling my prized Jazzmaster, this is absolutely immaculate and had no marks or dents on it. Features include a maple neck with vintage-tint gloss finish, 9.5”-radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets and parchment dot inlays, Seymour duncan Jazzmaster single-coil pickups, circuit selector switch and pickup selector toggle switch, white Stratocaster-style control knobs (lead circuit) and black disc knobs (rhythm circuit), upgraded bridge to a mustang bridge and non-locking floating vibrato with vintage-style tremolo arm, vintage-style chrome tuners and chrome hardware. Love this guitar, and thought I would never get rid of it. But I simply don't use it for my current project and need to try something different. It's just had a pro setup and all the wiring checked over (only needed a small re-solder on the neck pup). As you may know some of the top end squires put the low end Fenders to shame, this one plays good, it sounds good, and it looks awesome. Squier J Mascis Signature Jazzmaster With Seymour Duncan Antiquity II bridge pickup and mint green pick guard. Brilliant guitar - the best that Squier make. Has been gigged so has several small dings and chips but overall very good condition. Had a Seymour Duncan Antiquity II professionally fitted so all electrics are perfect. Light Mint green pick guard looks incredible with the cream paintwork and I've changed the control knobs too. Also included is the original pickup and a really good gig bag. One other thing to note is that there are some small chips below the strap buttons (not visible and doesn't affect anything but worth noting). Fender USA Jazzmaster Relic w/ Bigsby and upgrades

Relicing was done professionally by a guitar shop in Salford (great road worn feel, no rough edges). Simple three-way toggle switch (rather than the confusing lead circuit on most jazzmasters), and two stacked humbuckers which are fantastic and versatile pick ups. Came from factory with a stop-tail, which was professionally upgraded to a USA made Bigsby B5 (rrp £200). New tune-o-matic bridge and locking tuners means guitars stays in tune perfectly even with lots of Bigsby action! Jim Dunlop strap lock buttons also installed.
