Fender Squier Vintage Precision Bass Korean s Ashtrays

Korean built Fender Squier Precision bass from the late s. Vintage Olympic White finish, naturally faded over the years & looks beautiful. Came with a tortoise scratchplate, though the original white plate is included in the sale, as are the bridge & pick up "ashtrays" / covers. Good overall condition - couple of to be expected paint chips (mainly to lower horn - tried to show these on photo), though would benefit from a set up of the string height to accomodate the ashtray & also needs a blob of solder inside (my eyes are no longer good enough). Looks the absolute business hanging on my wall, but its too good & beautiful a collectable to sit gathering dust. Will be sorry to see this go, but its time for a clear out & new stuff.... Vintage Fender Squier Korean Stratocaster Young Chang - 19 years old

A made in Korea Fender Squier Strat. finished in (I think) arctic white with a lovely rosewood board on a maple neck. Standard hardware with Gotoh machine heads As far as I am aware the pickups are original, certainly the yellowing matched the controls and scratch plate perfectly. However something strange lurks beneath! The second tone control was not connected although there were some stray wires in the cavity. Also a strange circular object which I have no idea what it is. Maybe some sort of tone control 'enhancement'? There are none of the usual capacitors to minimise treble loss when turning down the volume so maybe? condition is as in the photos. Was stored in a damp room beside a heater that got really hot once a day, not ideal. I think this would explain the cracks in the paintwork, the cracks are ONLY in the paintwork. Everything works as it should, apart from the disconnected second tone control. Souns exactly like a strat should, loveley neck nice weight, feels a quality guitar. Hi I'm selling my Red Squier Stratocaster (made in Korea) with a Fender Mustang One 20 watt practice amp, lead and padded gig bag. All in good condition. It's a fantastic quality set to start you off playing the guitar. Very Hank Marvin. I've upgraded the pickups to handwound versions (traditional neck and middle and overwound bridge) and it sounds like a good strat should. Great for rock, blues, funk and country. A very reluctant sale of a fantastic example of a Squier by Fender Showmaster guitar. Crafted in Indonesia this now discontinued and getting rarer and more collectible future classic is in fantastic condition for its approx age of 13 years. Differing from other Squier Strats commonly seen this was Squier's answer to the Ibanez/Jackson/ESP etc Super Strats. It features a very nice 2 point tremolo and instead of three single coil pickups you get a humbucker at the bridge for extra grunt. A lovely tonal range all changeable with the 5 way switch, 1 volume and 1 tone control. A very nice and my favorite feature natural wood Reverse Headstock completes the Hendrix/rock/metal/shred look. The body is believed to be Alder and is black with a tasteful metallic sparkle throughout. There are a couple of minor knocks/scuffs but not really noticeable and to be expected on a guitar of this age. The bolt on Maple neck is a thin C shape/profile measuring approx 40mm at the nut. It features a Rosewood fretboard with 21 frets. Built to be played fast the guitar is fitted with new Ernie Ball Super Slinky's (09's) There are many positive reviews about this guitar online and it will be a superb guitar for beginner's and beyond.
