Fender Stratocaster / Relic / Road Worn Electric Guitar This is an authentic Fender Stratocaster made in Mexico. The body has been completely stripped of the original polyurethane finish and refinished in Nitrocellulose. The neck has also been sprayed in Nitrocellulose and aged to give an authentic Road Worn look. The original machine heads have been replaced with Kluston Style Locking machine heads. You can see in the photos on the rear of the body there is a 9v battery compartment. This is because previously this guitar had the Clapton TBX mid tone boost circuit fitted. De-fretted bass equipped with brass saddles Wilkinson bridge and EMG JV set active pickups – the battery is nicely located underneath the control plate therefore no routing was needed. I also added a three string retainer on the headstock to have a more even string tension and it features has a brass 'slap bar' at the end of the fretboard – it provides a more pronounced attack when slapping despite its fretlessness.
