Hey Guys, Selling this guitar I have. I got just under a month ago, and I thought I had acquired a Spanish electro guitar, with 3 nylon strings for the higher notes.But it turns out to be with steel strings only. I didn't mind the guitar at first and practice with it. However, just couple days ago, my fingers have been killing me so much that I couldn't play for the last 4 days. So that's why I have decided to sell it. The guitar comes with everything needed: Amp, Fender Strap, Fender 3 metres cables and Gig Bag. The guitar comes with a Tuner which needs to be battery operated with a 9v battery. In order for the guitar to work on any Amp, the battery has to be there, otherwise it won't pick up any signal. The Amp is a "Hughes & Kettner Edition Blue-30R Guitar Amplifer" worth £200, you can check out a vid on Youtube Lastly the guitar is a slimline which means it a standard full size guitar, but only slimmer. I'm still pining for a Flea, a Road Worn Jazz or a Road Worn Dirnt. I have the following, plus up to £100 for the right bass. Entry level AMERICAN Precision, , now discontinued, as are the Standard. Differences to US STANDARD. Standard pup rather than custom shop. Standard tuners rather than the fancy lightweight ones. Standard bridge rather than high mass through body. No hard case. Light at 8lb 2oz. These have the Greasebucket tone circuit which has made irregular appearances since the late 80's. Very good condition. Comes with tortie plate, plus original white plate, supplied tools plus a DOUBLE gig bag. Any trial in Wigan, feedback available. I would prefer trade and a meet up. Reluctant but I have 3 P/J's and this is the most valuable, and probably most saleable as they don't come up often. Black is the least common colour, Maple is the least common board. These Hot Rods were only made for 11 months from July before becoming the Hot Rodded, which ran for about 2 years. Lots of info on the balanced pick ups on BC & TB. Graphite rods, 41.6mm nut, 8lb 13oz, not original case, but expensive (and quite scuffed) Fender case included. A myriad of tiny surface scuffs on the back, that won't photograph, but for an 18 year old bass it's in good condition It's almost impossible for me to courier now, unless YOU want to sort out a Saturday collection. I would happily look at a trade for an American Jazz Deluxe dated to . I have £100 to add to the Hot Rod, to go to such a Jazz. Please remember the Deluxe Jazzes of that time were selling new for between £ so really shouldn't be considered the same value as the current Elite series! Bass has a newly fitted tortoiseshell scratch plate (3ply) but still have the old one if you want it and comes with chrome black strap locks. Also comes with gigging accessories including string cleaner, cleaning cloth, guitar polish, 6in1 Screwdriver and string cutters. All the gear was bought brand new, bass has been played a handful of times, never gigged, MINT condition, not a single scratch. Mexican Fender Precision. 41mm nut width, 4.4kg weight. Excellent condition, though a few marks, none obvious. Completely standard bar the additional Chrome Covers and bit of sponge for them.
