MORE INFO:- The Paramount range is brand new from Fender and adopts years of guitar-building and technical knowledge to provide a set of instruments which are affordable but high in quality. The PM-2 Standard Parlour Acoustic Guitar has a compact feel but produces a big, balanced acoustic sound. A select choice of tonewoods are employed to make sure the sound is just right but also contributes to a remarkable appearance. SPRUCE AND MAHOGANY Fender opted to use solid spruce to build the top of the PM-2 Standard thanks to its ability to project clearly and with plenty of volume. The PM-2 Standard is shaped to a Parlour profile which feels compact but comfy too, and it works magnificently with the spruce top to amplify your acoustic sound. The back and sides have been carefully constructed using solid mahogany. Mahogany has a darker wooden appearance, but is warm and smooth in character. The use of solid mahogany further enhances the overall acoustic output with plenty of resonance. NECK A mahogany neck with a smooth, comfortable playing feel and “C” shape is firmly joined to the PM-2 Standard. Married to the neck is a rosewood fingerboard with 19 frets at your service, and the decorative mop inlays guide you up and down the fretboard with confidence. FENDER PARAMOUNT PREAMP To translate the natural tones of the PM-2 Standard, Fender have included the Paramount onboard preamp which uses superb Fishman electronics, allowing you to plug into your desired amplifier and play on. The preamp features a bass and treble EQ to help you contour your sound and enliven the tone. Conveniently, the Paramount preamp also includes a built-in tuner to help you keep each string sounding just as it should with the utmost efficiency. A Phase switch is also included and helps to reduce unwanted noise and feedback which many people hear during a live performance onstage, thus improving your amplified output and keeping it sounding crystal clear. HARDWARE AND FINISH The PM-2 Standard has a rosewood bridge which upholds a strong connection between the strings and the body. Fender have chosen Open Back Nickel tuners to sit either side of the headstock to retune each string with accuracy. The Natural finish of the PM-2 Standard is complemented by a tortoiseshell pickguard with a Fender Kingman outline, and checkerboard purfling and soundhole rosette. Fender have included a deluxe hardshell case and a guitar humidifier with the purchase of a PM-2 Standard. These two accessories will offer protection against the elements for years to come, ensuring that the PM-2 guitar looks and sounds just as immaculate after time has passed.
