Fender USA Standard Stratocaster Sonic Blue

Hi there guys, for sale here is my Fender USA Standard Stratocaster. It was originally sunburst but I've had it re-finished in Sonic Blue- the colour matching is perfect and the guitar now is pretty much immaculate. The refin job is 95% perfect- there's a couple of very minor imperfections but not noticeable at all unless under close inspection and too small to pick up on camera. It's also kept all its original date stamps/product code stickers/insulating paint etc. please see pics and the rest is all stock factory original (I have the candy, trem arm and hang tags too). It looks amazing and it's really hard to get a USA Strat in this colour- it will be professionally set up before sale to your specifications, I usually go for 4/64 down to 3/64" action at the 17th with a smidge (.005") relief but let me know if you have any preferences. Fender Classic Player 60s stratocaster in sonic blue. Made in Mexico.   Comes with a Fender padded gig bag, Fender strap, plus the original strap pins (Fender strap locks are currently fitted and come with the guitar as well).   Three 'dings' below the bridge (as per photos) plus the usual small scratches on the pick guard and on the side where the arm rests (have tried to show in the photos).   Bought early new from GuitarGuitar in Epsom.   The lacquer on the back of the neck has been sanded away (as per photo) to speed up the neck, but this has not changed the shape of the neck and you could re-lacquer it if desired.   The pickups have not been changed and are Fender custom shop '69.   Price new was £611.   Collection only from Cobham, Surrey

Fender Japan Blue Flower Strat ONO

Here we have the last guitar I'll ever sell. As rare as hens teeth the Blue Flower strats where made in Japan as a reissue of a famous s finish, the telecasters were relatively easy to come by but the strats got lost in the wild. The guitar is in great condition free of any marks and bumps, and the neck has very little wear on the frets. The pickups are the stock ones as far as I'm aware & are much more powerful than my 50s classic player strat, very much a classic strat sound but with a bit more growl than normal. The 5 way pickup selector needs either replaced or rewired, the pick ups select fine but it needs a wee wiggle for the tone controls to kick in. Never a problem for me as I'm a tone on 10 kinda guy. There is a new fender tweed hardcase but unless the price is right I'm not sure I'll part with it as I still kind of need it, but you never know. Now for the rude part, please don't bother contacting me if your not seriously interested, it's an incredible rare guitar & while it may not be to everyone's taste (I'm an old hippie) it's not being given away for peanuts & if push comes to shove I'm happy to keep it. Not interested in any trades or swaps unless it's for something truly great. Selling it as it's just lived in its case since I got it, viewed it as a bit of collectors piece & since I've yet to master that mysterious third chord reckon the time was right. Ad ID:

Fender Excelsior Pro - Sonic Blue - 13 watt valve guitar amp

Very good condition - a couple of minor nicks and scuffs in the Tolex which hopefully can be seen in the photos. I have upgraded the Tone switch to a Tone pot and added Fender Tiltback legs which make it much easier to hear when playing. It is a really loud 13 watts and takes pedals beautifully. Fender Mustang in great condition. These are increasingly rare and this one is in the very desirable lake placid blue. This is a gorgeous guitar and plays beautifully. It has a silky smooth neck and pick-ups that can be very clean, or can totally scream and howl for that coveted Nirvana tone.
