I am selling a Fender Mexican Precision Bass Guitar. It is in good condition and has had a Bridge upgrade from its original bridge to a BADASS II bridge (pictured). Serial Number MN Features Series: Standard series Body: Alder Neck: Maple, modern C shape, gloss urethane finish Fingerboard: Rosewood 9-1/2" Radius (241 mm) Frets: 20 Medium-jumbo frets Pickups: 1 Standard Precision Bass split single-coil pickup (Mid) Controls: Volume, Tone Bridge: Standard vintage style with single groove saddles Machine heads: Standard Hardware: Chrome Pickguard: 3-Ply Parchment Scale Length: mm) Width at Nut: mm) Since the early s this guitar has been the mainstay of many famous bass musicians. A good, solid variety of tones are available which means it can be used in many musical genres. The body is finished in a deep metallic dark blue with a contrasting white scratch plate and volume/tone knobs. As it is Fender's mid range guitar the overall finish is of a very high standard with no blemishes on the paint work. Mexican Fender Precision bass guitar, with hard case and chrome covers.

Mexican Fender Precision. 41mm nut width, 4.4kg weight. Excellent condition, though a few marks, none obvious. Completely standard bar the additional Chrome Covers and bit of sponge for them. A late '90s Squier P-bass Special. This features a standard split coil Precision Bass neck pickup and an extra Jazz bass bridge pickup. Plays nicely. Nice low action and a straight neck. It's been retrofitted with a genuine Fender neck pickup cover. This can easily be removed if needs be. Please note, there a tiny black mark on the back of the body. This is a production error. Reluctant but I have 3 P/J's and this is the most valuable, and probably most saleable as they don't come up often. Black is the least common colour, Maple is the least common board. These Hot Rods were only made for 11 months from July before becoming the Hot Rodded, which ran for about 2 years. Lots of info on the balanced pick ups on BC & TB. Graphite rods, 41.6mm nut, 8lb 13oz, not original case, but expensive (and quite scuffed) Fender case included. A myriad of tiny surface scuffs on the back, that won't photograph, but for an 18 year old bass it's in good condition It's almost impossible for me to courier now, unless YOU want to sort out a Saturday collection. I would happily look at a trade for an American Jazz Deluxe dated to . I have £100 to add to the Hot Rod, to go to such a Jazz. Please remember the Deluxe Jazzes of that time were selling new for between £ so really shouldn't be considered the same value as the current Elite series!
