Fender Japan Blue Flower Strat ONO

Here we have the last guitar I'll ever sell. As rare as hens teeth the Blue Flower strats where made in Japan as a reissue of a famous s finish, the telecasters were relatively easy to come by but the strats got lost in the wild. The guitar is in great condition free of any marks and bumps, and the neck has very little wear on the frets. The pickups are the stock ones as far as I'm aware & are much more powerful than my 50s classic player strat, very much a classic strat sound but with a bit more growl than normal. The 5 way pickup selector needs either replaced or rewired, the pick ups select fine but it needs a wee wiggle for the tone controls to kick in. Never a problem for me as I'm a tone on 10 kinda guy. There is a new fender tweed hardcase but unless the price is right I'm not sure I'll part with it as I still kind of need it, but you never know. Now for the rude part, please don't bother contacting me if your not seriously interested, it's an incredible rare guitar & while it may not be to everyone's taste (I'm an old hippie) it's not being given away for peanuts & if push comes to shove I'm happy to keep it. Not interested in any trades or swaps unless it's for something truly great. I am selling my Fender Stratocaster Crafted in Japan. The colour is arctic white as far as I can tell. It has a rosewood fret-board which is freshly oiled in the photographs and slightly less glossy now but still a sheen. I believe from the serial number (Q) that this is from the FujiGen factory and made between and . There is very little fret wear and a good set up - according to a better player than me this guitar played better than his.I do not use the whammy bar and the guitar is set up accordingly, but it will be included. Made in Mexico.   Comes with a Fender padded gig bag, Fender strap, plus the original strap pins (Fender strap locks are currently fitted and come with the guitar as well).   Three 'dings' below the bridge (as per photos) plus the usual small scratches on the pick guard and on the side where the arm rests (have tried to show in the photos).   Bought early new from GuitarGuitar in Epsom.   The lacquer on the back of the neck has been sanded away (as per photo) to speed up the neck, but this has not changed the shape of the neck and you could re-lacquer it if desired.   The pickups have not been changed and are Fender custom shop '69.   Price new was £611.   Collection only from Cobham, Surrey

This is a very nicely set up Squier affinity stratocaster guitar. Its a lovely blue/purple colour with a white/cream scratchplate wich looks as though it migh have been white but has yellowed with age giving it a nice vintage vibe. Fender MIM Standard Stratocaster in Lake Placid Blue Strat guitar

For sale: Fender MIM Strat in Lake Placid Blue with upgraded Pickups and Fender Gigbag. This is super clean considering it is now 21 years old! A couple of small signs of play wear but no real damage. The pickups were upgraded to the Tonerider Surfari set and these sound awesome, much better than the stock ceramic pickups IMO.
