For sale is my Fender Hotrod Deluxe III with the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 112 Enclosure in Lacquered Tweed. Both the amp and cabinet are in a gigged condition. The amp will need a service as it breaks up when playing at high volumes - some fresh valves and a look over will do the trick. The amp comes with the original fender cover. It does not come with a foot switch and the handle at the top of the amp is broken, both of which can be easily replaced. The cabinet is in perfect working condition, and still has the original 12" Celestion G12P-80 speaker. The Fender Hot Rod Deluxe is quitae possibly one of my favourite go-to amplifiers. It features beautiful gain stages with a more gain switch for fatter sustain and a Reverb thats HUGE!!! One of the best gig's I ever had was on a US Std 70's Strat, straight in with the gain on about 7 and more gain switch enabled, reverb on about 3 or 4 and just simply rolling the volume up and down. New Year and maybe time for a change. Been toying with trading in my year hot rod deluxe Mark 2. Have the extension cab in the photos to add for the right deal. The tolex on the amp is damaged in the bottom of the amp not visible from the front. Is gigged almost very week and is a workhorse of an amp. Transformer was replaced and amp was serviced last year. I have the footswitch, (drive and more drive) and the covers. Like the idea of heads and cabs rather than a combo. Sorry about the glare on the pics. Reluctantly getting shot of this terrific all-tube amp due to really not using it to its full capacity. If you know about these amps, you know how good they are. If you don't, come and find out why they are the standard amp for the gigging guitarist. The original Hot Rod Deluxe was good, but the upgrades - easy-view black control panel with front-reading text, graduated volume and treble pot tapers, tighter overdrive and a Celestion G12P-80 speaker - made it even better. OK for use at home practising at lower volume (though my neighbours now hate me), it really comes into its own when you crank it up. And my God, it's loud. So much so I have to downsize or face a noise abatement order. It's in great condition and I wouldn't be selling it if I was gigging, but I'm not. The included dust cover isn't pristine, but it does its job.
