Hi! Selling my 40w FENDER HOT ROD DELUXE III and a matching hardcase. all valve (Pre Amp Tubes: 3 x 12AX7, Power Tubes: 2 x 6L6) Speaker: 1-12" Celestion G12P-80, 8 ohm Speaker The Amp is 2 years old, has been gigged a few times but mostly played at home, has never been pushed or used loud (I never went past 4 on the master) and never drove it really hard, played mostly clean. Valves are in good condition, it sounds amazing and works perfectly. Slight lift of the Tolex on the top sides (see pictures) (This is quite common with these amps and can be glued back if necessary) It comes with a super tough THON hardcase also in great close to mint condition and barely taken out. Also comes with the original footswitch The Amp was bought new £650 (from GAK) and hardcase bought new £150 (from Thomann) Asking for £500 ONO for the Amp + hardcase. Reluctantly getting shot of this terrific all-tube amp due to really not using it to its full capacity. If you know about these amps, you know how good they are. If you don't, come and find out why they are the standard amp for the gigging guitarist. The original Hot Rod Deluxe was good, but the upgrades - easy-view black control panel with front-reading text, graduated volume and treble pot tapers, tighter overdrive and a Celestion G12P-80 speaker - made it even better. OK for use at home practising at lower volume (though my neighbours now hate me), it really comes into its own when you crank it up. And my God, it's loud. So much so I have to downsize or face a noise abatement order. It's in great condition and I wouldn't be selling it if I was gigging, but I'm not. The included dust cover isn't pristine, but it does its job. This is the Hot Rod III reissue made in Mexico. Very rare Hot Rod in vintaged Tweed. Looks stunning and sounds stunning. Great clean headroom with two gain stages giving crunch/blues and a rockier gain on top. Fender built in spring reverb. This is a do it all amp ready to gig with it's own fitted flight case. I have gigged this amp on a few occasions, but always flight cased, so it's pretty much as new, looks and sounds that way to. I am only parting with it because I have concluded I prefer Marshall tones and have acquired a great hand wired Marshall. Don't make silly offers I'll keep it rather than give it away, the flight case alone is worth £180. Pick up the only option really it would travel in the flight case fine, but cost would be high.
