Fender Classic Player '50s Baja Telecaster - Custom Shop Pickups and Design - trade/swap

A quick Google should find you hundreds of superlative reviews for this guitar. It feels amazing to play and can cover any tones you want (including that blissful traditional tele twang!) with its Custom Shop pickups and S1 switching circuit. Only selling due to buying a flat and needing the funds! Only issues are one chip on the back of the lower horn and the pickguard has been replaced with a modern replacement (no new holes have been drilled and you can easily replace this with a vintage-style one for a few quid). Apart from this it is shiny as new! I would consider a trade for an instrument of equal or greater worth, and would even throw in some extra cash if you have something particularly interesting that is USA-made. Fender American "Rustic Ash" Limited Edition Strat Stratocaster with pickups Olympic White

Beautiful limited edition guitar which I sadly have no time to play. It is basically an American Standard spec with a different finish scratch plate. It is officially Olympic White but the grain shows through beautifully. It has been upgraded to Fender USA pickups which suit the guitar much better than the Texas specials. It also has a blender knob instead of a second time control which allows you blend in the bridge or neck depending where the selector is. This guitar is made from high quality parts and listed below. Body is a MJT from the states and has a 3 tone sunburst heavy relic finish which is as good as any Fender Custom Shop. The neck is a genuine Fender and the wear is all real, thats 38yrs of play and it looks superb. I'm not sure of the profile but its not a chunky neck, I'd say a C- shape and it plays great with the frets in great shape, these are jumbo frets. At some point it has had other tuners on but the originals are back on and cover most of the holes. (see pic) The neck has also been drilled to take a 4 bolt. The saddles are Pat Pend like the old vintage Strats had and the trem block is made from milled steal so it sustains better a must have upgrade. Pickups came from a Custom Shop ltd edition 60's Strat and that guitar had Bare Knuckles from the factory so these are quite rare to get now...they sound great too. The pickup covers and knobs are from that same guitar. The guitar has a push pull pot on the volume know so it has a 7 way selection from the pickups with the use of the 5 way switch, this really makes a difference in the sound and it has mallard mustard caps and treble bleed. Its a beautiful guitar which has had a lot of time and thought gone in to making it what it is, it looks in my opinion better than any custom shop especially with the real wear from the 77 neck. Comes in a Fender hardcase. Collection only. I live in Wilmslow during the week and Doncaster at the weekends if this helps with collection. Feel free to ask any questions

Fender Classic Player Stratocaster (Strat) Custom Shop designed

I'm going to regret this. I have always been a bit of a USA snob when it comes to Fenders. I read great things about the Classic Player Series though so I thought I'd give one a try. I have been completely blown away by the quality of this guitar though, those Custom Shop boys have clearly come up with a winner. The set up is amazing and the pickups sound great, far better that I ever thought (some Mexican guitars sound terrible to me). I honestly cannot find a mark on this guitar, it's a real stunner, even the neck has a little flame in it. I am a bit concerned about shipping it in just the gig bag it came with but can make a brand new hard case available for £55 if that helps. I do travel to London so could meet there.
