Fender Classic Player '50s Baja Telecaster - Custom Shop Pickups and Design - trade/swap

A quick Google should find you hundreds of superlative reviews for this guitar. It feels amazing to play and can cover any tones you want (including that blissful traditional tele twang!) with its Custom Shop pickups and S1 switching circuit. Only selling due to buying a flat and needing the funds! Only issues are one chip on the back of the lower horn and the pickguard has been replaced with a modern replacement (no new holes have been drilled and you can easily replace this with a vintage-style one for a few quid). Apart from this it is shiny as new! I would consider a trade for an instrument of equal or greater worth, and would even throw in some extra cash if you have something particularly interesting that is USA-made. A fantastic Fender Telecaster Special USA in Olympic White Complete with Fender gig bag and all accessories For anyone that knows about these guitars, they will know how great they play and sound with the Texas Special pick ups for which these guitars are famous for. Manufactured . Hard to come by these second hand without spending more than £800,but even then not benefitting from a luthier set up. Had a full pro set up at a cost of £80 and plays perfectly. Nice and low with no fret buzz. Frets are incredible as this guitar has never been gigged or played hard, in fact it has never left the house. Beautiful in what I think is the best colour way of Olympic white with black scratch plate. Couple of small marks as indicated by the photos. I'm going to regret this. I have always been a bit of a USA snob when it comes to Fenders. I read great things about the Classic Player Series though so I thought I'd give one a try. I have been completely blown away by the quality of this guitar though, those Custom Shop boys have clearly come up with a winner. The set up is amazing and the pickups sound great, far better that I ever thought (some Mexican guitars sound terrible to me). I honestly cannot find a mark on this guitar, it's a real stunner, even the neck has a little flame in it. I am a bit concerned about shipping it in just the gig bag it came with but can make a brand new hard case available for £55 if that helps. I do travel to London so could meet there. A previous owner had fitted a string tree but it was removed before I got it and the tiny hole in the headstock has been tastefully filled (you can barely see it just above the "e" in Fender).
