Fender American Vintage P Bass This bass is the nicest P bass I have ever played, including custom shops and real vintage fenders. It plays and sounds great, and is a fantastic weight. Is has a couple of dings (as shown in the photos) but these a purely cosmetic and are to be expected as it is a nitro finish. I'm really after cash, but may except trades. Fender American Hot Rod Precision bass guitar, , with Fender hard case.

Reluctant but I have 3 P/J's and this is the most valuable, and probably most saleable as they don't come up often. Black is the least common colour, Maple is the least common board. These Hot Rods were only made for 11 months from July before becoming the Hot Rodded, which ran for about 2 years. Lots of info on the balanced pick ups on BC & TB. Graphite rods, 41.6mm nut, 8lb 13oz, not original case, but expensive (and quite scuffed) Fender case included. A myriad of tiny surface scuffs on the back, that won't photograph, but for an 18 year old bass it's in good condition It's almost impossible for me to courier now, unless YOU want to sort out a Saturday collection. I would happily look at a trade for an American Jazz Deluxe dated to . I have £100 to add to the Hot Rod, to go to such a Jazz. Please remember the Deluxe Jazzes of that time were selling new for between £ so really shouldn't be considered the same value as the current Elite series! Due to this instrument's length, it may be unavailable to ship internationally.  Fender American Deluxe Precision P Bass w/Upgraded Hipshot Brass Bridge, Tuners & TSA Flight Case! For sale is a stunning Fender American Deluxe P Bass with TSA-rated Fender flight case. This bass features an upgraded Hipshot A-Style brass bridge ($100+) and Hipshot HB6C tuning machines ($75), plus the costs of professional installation! Additional Fender Deluxe features include a graphite-reinforced neck, select alder body and the Deluxe series' famous contoured neck heel and chromed Fender headstock logo. It's in great, well-played condition, with only cosmetic wear. There are numerous smaller dings, dents, and scratches throughout the body and fingerboard/neck (many, but not all are pictured), including pick marks and buckle rash (didn't show up well in photos). The fingerboard clear has worn to a satin finish and has a few dents, but the frets are in fantastic shape with only very light dimpling. The rear upper-horn has plenty of scuffs/scratches that I couldn't properly photograph. It's an absolutely flawlessly playing masterpiece of American craftsmanship and ships in a TSA-approved flight case with original key (plastic cracked off/dented on the upper-left).      Shipping Shipping will be calculated depending on your location via USPS Priority Mail.  There is a handling fee of $ (US) or $ (out of the country), which is already included in the shipping estimate. I'm still pining for a Flea, a Road Worn Jazz or a Road Worn Dirnt. I have the following, plus up to £100 for the right bass. Entry level AMERICAN Precision, , now discontinued, as are the Standard. Differences to US STANDARD. Standard pup rather than custom shop. Standard tuners rather than the fancy lightweight ones. Standard bridge rather than high mass through body. No hard case. Light at 8lb 2oz. These have the Greasebucket tone circuit which has made irregular appearances since the late 80's. Very good condition. Comes with tortie plate, plus original white plate, supplied tools plus a DOUBLE gig bag. Any trial in Wigan, feedback available. I would prefer trade and a meet up. Came with a tortoise scratchplate, though the original white plate is included in the sale, as are the bridge & pick up "ashtrays" / covers. Good overall condition - couple of to be expected paint chips (mainly to lower horn - tried to show these on photo), though would benefit from a set up of the string height to accomodate the ashtray & also needs a blob of solder inside (my eyes are no longer good enough).
