Due to no longer being able to keep my house, I'm unfortunately having to sell my 2 rats as the new place doesn't accept any pets. Iv had them both about a year, they won't always jump into your hand but they come upto you and let you pick them up. I let them run around the living room sometimes and they love it. They never bitte unless you put your fingers through the bars as they think it's a treat for them. I have a dog who runs upto the cage and sniffs then and they aren't bothered by him at all.
