Fizz did wonderfully, delivering 5 little black girls and 1 very lovely black boy in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Fizz is available to be viewed here on farm and the father is even smaller than her! By meeting her, you can see the approximate size her piglets will grow to. Pigs are incredibly intelligent animals and naturally toilet train themselves making them a great pet! If you plan to keep your pig/s outdoors, you will need solid and secure fencing. A suitable house or ark is required filled with straw, blankets or similar and pigs love to bury themselves to keep warm. They love to play too! So lots of toys is essential! We recommend strong dog harnesses, toys & chews, a raised vegetable bed filled with soil or woodchip will encourage digging in just one spot - you can hide treats within it to keep the occupied for hours! We can provide everything you need to start up your pig-keeping experience including all items mentioned above, an ark or bespoke house handcrafted uniquely for you, equipment, feed, literature, medicinal items, toys and more! In order to adopt a piglet, you MUST have a CPH number obtained from the RPA (Rural Payments Agency). To get your own CPH number, call the RPA and select the option for registering your details. This may take a few weeks so we recommend doing this in advance as without it, a legal movement cannot be completed. Just arrived!! We are advertising our new litter of tiny miniature piglets from one of our smallest mothers. She is 3 years old and has a fantastic personality and nature. She loves tummy tickles and foraging in the orchards. She is pictured with the chickens on this ad. Dad is ginger and black spot in colour and is 2.5 years old. Our pigs have just featured on ITVs Secret World of Posh Pets. This can be viewed online on the iplayer. The piglets are handled from birth and so will be very friendly, will come and sit on your lap and loves a belly rub. Their mother goes for walks on her harness and these babies could easily be harness trained but will also just follow you everywhere like a dog! These babies will only be sold to good home only, and will be ready to leave at 8 weeks old. Boys will be castrated by our vet before they leave. Castrated boys make super docile pets. They are vaccinated against mange and will be wormed.
