I need to new loving home for my African pygmy hedgehog, Doug, due to moving house and getting a new job. He came to live with us on March 8th . I have his birth certificate (not great quality, didn't come from me) and his care pack if never had a African pygmy hedgehog before. Doug will come with a zoozone cage, 2 exercise wheels, a heat mat, fleece dome, fleece liners, litter tray and litter, one batch of food and toys. If I'm honest, he can be a little grumpy when waking him up or initially taking him out of the cage, but give him seconds and he is fine. He is lovely, leave him to wander the room and he will tend to sit under your leg or get as close as possible. A quiet, adventurous gent. I am having to sell him due to a change in circumstance and would prefer his next owner to have previously owned a hedgie or have experience with them. I will be selling him with his cage all suited and booted. It includes: Vivarium tank which has two levels for extra space. L-88cm H-38cm W-43cm (second level fits the wheel under perfectly, please request further pictures to see the set up). 18 month old female African Pygmy hedgehog for sale due to personal circumstances. She has a lovely temperament, although could do with more regular handling as she can be very huffy when first woken up. Other than that she is very friendly and inquisitive, never bitten. She will come with her set up: a 4ft vivarium, house, toys, bowls, wheel and food. New owner will need to buy a ceramic heat bulb and thermostat as mine has broke.
