Complete pony pad with stirrups, leathers and girth. Made of very thick sturdy felt. The girth has had an inset of elastic fitted some time ago, which is strong and helps to girth up tightly. A surcingle could also be used around the saddle for extra security as I always would advise to use as a safety precaution to stop the saddle slipping around on a chubby pony like a Shetland. The girth and leather strap holes and stitching are still good. Has had a lot of use, but still a handy throw on saddle for ponies, especially good for breaking in a pony that is a bit cold backed, as it is very comfortable on their back.

14" Saddle Pad / Show Pony Pad like the Thorn Pad New Con.

I am considering selling my beautiful brown saddle pad. The pad is 14" and features knee and thigh blocks like the thorn deluxe plus pad! (better photos to come these are just the ones I had to hand). Ideal for round, flat backed native ponies and can be switched from one pony to another. This pad is in near new condition and has only been used once to be tried by my daughter, however I feel that my daughter and her pony could both do with the 15" pad as the ponies back and my daughter are both longer than I imagined!
