I have been riding for 15 years and in that time have spent the last five working at a stables. I have experience with a wide range of horses with different temperaments and needs. I am due to finish my college course in June so will be based back in Aylesbury at the end of June. I may be able to offer a small contribution or buy things when required. Do you have a few hours a week to devote to animal care? Ideal for someone local to Ross On Wye who is seeking a career with animals and needing experience or someone recently retired and fit and wanting a new outlet or someone who simply loves being surrounded by animals and caring for those who have not had a great start in life. A great country setting to work in and very friendly welcome awaits. We are located just outside Ross on Wye in Herefordshire. The volunteer will work alongside 150 animals across 25 different species. Great for equine lovers as we have donkeys, mules, horses, miniature horses and zebra, some of which need a lot of attention. We also have red deer, emu, reindeer, wallaby, porcupine, raccoon, coati, ferrets, owls, goats, sheep, pigs, cows, cats, dog, poultry, alpaca, fox. We have this range as alongside our own livestock we offer homes to animals who were neglected or living in conditions inappropriate for their needs. This voluntary work will involve pen clearing, pooh picking, feeding, and help with husbandry. For those interested interacting with those animals that benefit from personal attention. So it is tough physical work but in a great setting with great experiences. No previous experience with animals is required but it is important to be physically fit and have a can-do attitude and ability to remain calm and considered when working beside livestock. We have 3 loving farm cats looking for a loving home, they live outside all year round,although they can be indoor cats also as they are house trained,they are the most loving kind cats ever, they love a good cuddle & a stroke,good around young children,animals including dogs (aslong as dog is not aggressive) they have all been spayed & up to date on worming & fleas,never had a health problem with any of them...good little cats looking for a kind loving home! there is 2 sisters who are 2 years old & 1 daughter who is 1 years old. Norweigian Forest Cat Looking For Life on a Farm

Is anyone looking for a yard/farm cat? We took on a cat that is very much to herself and prefers to live outdoors so would ideally benefit from a yard with barns/stables that she can sleep in when the weather turns bad but also space to roam! Living on an estate, there's quite a lot of cars constantly going up and down the road so I think she would love fields to go and be a cat in! She isn't a big fan of human contact but will come for food and let you stroke her etc. Bit of a sassy diva! And she is 9 years old so quite wise! She is fully up to date with jabs, worming and fleaing and has been spayed. We just feel yard/farm life would benefit her more if she doesn't want to come into our house. Looking for work with horses. My names Gabriella I'm an 18 year confident rider & very experienced with horses I've been riding for 12 years. Loaned / Owned & worked on a yard. I did my apprenticeship in horses when I was 16 but due to a change in circumstances in my life I had to leave (it was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me and I would've regretted it if I hadn't of taken it).
