Rocket is a great all-rounder and experienced show jumper, aged 18, but doesn’t act it. He is easy to handle, catch, clip, shoe, load and 100% in traffic. (We have to cross a bridge over A31, under railway bridge and ride along a bus route with tractors, etc). He is happy to stand tied to a trailer or in the yard and be fussed over and groomed and hacks alone or in company. He is very safe, honest and kind. Rocket has represented the school SJ Equestrian team and the Hampshire Hunt pony club in dressage and showjumping, and he has done PC junior and senior camps and many competitions. He would be an ideal 2nd pony for a confident child as he can be strong when jumping but is very safe. Rocket is 100% to do in every way. Here we have my stunning 14hh gelding. He is ridden by my 12yr old daughter who has attended pony club, dressage, hunt meets and showjumping. He has a fantastic jump also fast against the clock. He is ridden in a snaffle at all times. He has provided my daughter with a great amount of confidence over the last 3yrs and is only for sale due to lack of time. She regularly hacks out with friends in traffic and on country lanes, is brill in open spaces and with large groups. He is very responsive never bucks bolts etc listens to seat and not strong to stop. He is a hardy little chap currently barefoot as never had any need for shoes. Being young willow hasn't done too much apart from hacking confidently around the lanes, and needs work on manners. Willow is a green horse and needs confident rider, she isn't nasty, but can be strong hence why she needs a confident rider, she can hack out alone and in company. She needs to be ridden frequently to get rid of most of her energy and she will stand to be groomed by young children and adults. Our adorable pony is well schooled, has great paces is easy to ride and is for sale due to being outgrown by my daughter. He has many years left in him and looks amazing. He really is up for anything, he is excellent in the heaviest of traffic including lorries, double deckers, combine harvesters, skip lorries etc. He hacks alone perfectly either by himself or with company, he competes regularly and does well in Working Hunter Classes, Showing, Xcountry, Showjumping, Dressage, Hunter trials, Long Distant rides, ODE and has been attending PC for the last three years including rallies and 4 day camp and area dressage. Currently jumping any height up to 2'6" maximum. Happy to go through water. Happy to be first or last. He will stand tied up to a trailor all day or can be happily left inside a trailor at shows. He always does well at shows and in the ribbons. Happy to be ridden bareback. He is excellent to catch, trim, pulling mane, bath, lunge, load, clip, worm, farrier and is up to date with worming, teeth, vaccinations and back. He does not barge and is happy to be sprayed with flyspray etc. Lives in or out alone or in company with mares or geldings. Happy to be in a stable on straw or shavings. Happy to have dry or wet hay. He has front shoes on every 5-6 weeks to keep his toes short. Has not lost a shoe since we have owned him. Excellent with electric fencing. He does not particularly like his girth being done up but if you speak to him before you do it he is usually fine. Brilliant with sheep chickens dogs etc. He is looking for a confident lightweight adult / child / teenager to enjoy his fun loving, cheeky character. I have also ridden him but I am too heavy. I am 5'6" and easily suits my height as he is a hunter type. His breeding is unknown. He can be a novice ride on the lead rein as my Daughter started off on the lead rein with him but would not suit a total novice off the read rein as he can be a bit cheeky and put in the odd titchy little buck which is easy to sit and not nasty in anyway (he would not do this with an adult or teenager). He is very happy to adapt to the level of any rider. He has been part of our life for 3 years and the previous owner for 10years (we still keep in contact with them). Have loads of photos and videos. I am genuinely an honest person and keep in contact with our last pony that we sold three years ago and would like to do the same with whoever buys our lovely Brambles. He comes with a very good quality snaffle bridle, saddle, rugs etc. He has slight arthritis in his near fore foot but does not normally need any treatment and this does not affect him. He would also be perfect for a mother / daughter share or an adult who wants to have fun hacking and having a go at anything as he can carry up to stone. Happy to answer any questions at all but hopefully I have detailed everything in this advert This is a very difficult decision for my 11 year old daughter. Cookie is a chestnut pony from 13. 2hh and growing fast so 14hh soon! Has got 7 1st and 3rd, 2nd ribbons in jumping and cross country, stunning at all events but not the usual colour for dressage like a black and white or an all black, Easy to catch, load, groom, dismount, mount, tack up. Loves to go on hacks and has never had a spook:) We would rather sell to a family that would ride everyday and maybe even enter shows/ competitions a few times; I am the teenager that officially owns this horse/ pony at the moment but my little brother and sister ride him and they learnt how to ride him when Cookie was only 6 years old... Never bitten, bucked, kicked or reared and when we bought him it was a big change because he had been with no horses at first and then he came to us and we have around 15 horses and he didn't bolt at all so we are pretty sure that he would never bolt. Boo is a 14hh pony who been there and done it she is a champion at showing she loves her jumping and brilliant at dressage. I'm looking for someone to help me a few days a week to ride her, we are on a really nice yard with two out door arenas one is jumping arena and an Indoor arena for use with jumps.
