He is a 13.2HH 9 year old Apaloosa, he will make a fab second pony for a smaller rider! I am looking for a confident rider to take him on as he can throw in a cheeky back every so often –this is solely due to being excited! He’s good in traffic, with the farrier, sound load, and good with the vet and worming, he will happily hack out alone or in company. Ollie is such a sweet natured pony and wouldn’t hurt a fly! Lead Rein / First Ridden/ Second Pony for sale

Marvin is an 11h2 12 year old Welsh A pony. He is a lead rein, first ridden (with the limits described below) and suitable second ridden if you want to jump higher/shows We've have owned him now for ten months and was brought as a confidence giver for our daughter after a previous bad buy. Marvin has done just that and given her a whole load of fun.. Our daughter had previously only ridden riding school ponies and her previous green pony and he gave her the opportunity to experience something more responsive and forward so as a first ridden pony for schooling,flat work, hacking and safety he is amazing.. Due to our previous bad buy this advert will be as honest as I can so you know exactly what Marvin offers. His good points are he will school all day long, he loves flat work, dressage, showing (and did in hand showing with his previous owners) he really will just go round and round all day.. His really strong point is out on open ground he is steady as a rock and will stand on a loose rein while others canter away/around but equally will canter round coming to a stop when asked by little hands and legs. On this area he is absolutely priceless.. He will go to shows, PC rallies and he stays the same as he does at home, He did mini camp this summer off lead and behaved just as he always does. He is fine to catch, easy enough to load but does travel better with other ponies, he's never taken more than a minute or two to load on his own.. He can however be very nervous of new people and whilst he's not head shy on tacking up he doesn't like to be groomed near his ears and nose, once he knows you he is much better and this problem becomes less and less.. He is great at gymkhana until the cups and flags come out! He'll weave in and out of poles, he'll let little ones jump down, run with him etc but he will not let you pick up the cup/flag in those types of races. He needs sedation for clipping/teeth - not necessarily a negative as not uncommon but I'd rather people knew. Reason for sale is because whilst i would class him as a first ridden in pretty much all areas - he looks completely to everyone else for confidence when jumping.. Marvin has an amazing jump on him and with a confident rider he would be amazing, he turns fast and jumps large so in the right hands he could be an awesome jumping pony, but our daughter is still learning in this area herself and so their lack of confidence together is counter productive which is why for jumping he really is a second pony only.. As our daughter loves jumping and really wants to progress further in this area we've reached a cross roads with him otherwise he would not be going anywhere. He will jump for little ones in lessons, at home etc but not consistently and at shows when everyone is nervous he won't jump at all off lead unless the rider is confident.. Marvin can be stabled or live out, currently he is out 24/7, he has front shoes no health issues. He would love a home where he does lots of hacking, flat work and pops a few jumps with no pressure. 12'2 Lead rein / second pony for sale lovely temperament

Bubbles is a years, grey gelding for sale. We have owned bubbles for 2 years now he is a real gentlemen to handle on the ground, my 6 year old daughter brings him in from the field, grooms, picks hooves baths him etc all herself he loves children. We brought him as a lead rein pony for learning the basics and to enjoy hacking, he has lovely manners, and really takes care of the child and their ability. He has taught my daughter everything she knows, there really isn't a nasty bone in his body. Bubbles has been to shows and has done showjumping in his previous home which he very much enjoys and I'm sure with getting him back into this he will make a great jumper again. Bubbles is fantastic in the school on and off the lead rein I only say a second pony as he is more forward out hacking so would need an older/more competent child for this. Excellent lead rein / second ridden pony for sale - 12.1hh

We have owned Milly for the past 18 months and during that time she has been a wonderful lead rein pony, taking part in rallies, pc camp, shows, fancy dress classes etc, and has given her young jockey lots of fun, and the confidence to progress to the next stage. She is great in traffic, to load, shoe, catch etc., is snaffle mouthed, happily pops a course of jumps and can be turned out alone and in company, but she isn't a first ridden as she can be cheeky off the lead rein. However she would make an excellent second pony for an older, more competent jockey. We're now looking for a new loving home for her, where she can give another child as much fun as she's given us. Sharer wanted for fab palomino pony

Looking for a long term reliable sharer for my beautiful boy due to a change in circumstances. He is turning 6 years later this summer and is 14.2hh, so needs a light rider. He has a lovely quiet nature and is not spooky like most Arabs! He has done hacking, jumping and dressage, good in traffic, to box etc. He is still young and learning only having been backed last summer, and then turned away for the winter. He is now ready to be brought back into work and continue his education, so must be an experienced person happy to do this, ideally somebody used to Arabs or youngsters would be ideal. (Sorry no children) Due to expecting a baby unfortunately I can no longer give him the time that he deserves therefore I would like to find a long term on going sharer. Extremely Sad Sale of First/Second Pony

It is with a heavy heart that I'm offering up for sale my daughter's 12.2hh Section B, gelding, aged 14yrs.. He is truly a one in a million pony who has taken my daughter from being a nervous rider to jumping Pony Club Class 1 Winter League. This little superstar has no vices and is the perfect Pony Club all rounder. He has competed in MG comps, hunted (on and off the lead rein), completed Arena Eventing locally, been to Main Camp and done Endurance. 11.3hh first/second pony club pony

Very sad sale of our daughters pony due to loss of interest.we have owned lady for 19 months and previous home was pony club. Lady was bought as a first pony and in most respects she is and this is what she has been used for. However she does have some quirks and I honestly think she is a second pony or older child's first pony our daughter was 8 when we bought her. Lady has done all pony club rally's with the south staffs attended camp, dressage, local shows, fun rides and attended hunt meets on the lead rein. She has hacked alone and in company and spent a lot of last summer hacking around fields with my daughter or on Cannock chase. Lady likes to jump and previously has competed bsja, she likes coloured fences and was 40cm champion at Stafford riding club she will do cross country but needs positive riding. Good in traffic we live on a farm,loads, good to clip, bath and catch currently unshod but had fronts on last year due to the work. No illness with us or lami lived out this winter. Her main quirks are grumpy when tacking up and will nip if loose we avoid this by tying tight and can nip when picking front feet out just need awareness everything checked and put down to badly fitting tack in past. Can put in a buck when asked to canter with a stick. That said we have had amazing fun with this pony and she has always behaved when at shows being quite genuine over coloured fences. Willow 13.1 welsh B x super second pony for confident child

Willow is a very loving and sweet been there done that got the t.shirt type of pony. I bought willow as a favour for a friend whose child (small 10 year old novice, just out of riding school) was finding him too much. Willow would be suitable for a confident child seeking their second pony who wants to win in every discipline. He by no means acts his age and has endless life in him. Schooling: Willow moves very nicely on the flat. He's got an elegant movement that really turns heads. Not strong at all, requires minimal contact and flows nicely through transitions. Hacking: dream to hack, not bothered by any traffic. Happy to canter up the field on the buckle, even with his previous owner who was very nervous. Jumping: Willow has a super smooth pop to him, quite happy to jump cross poles to 90cm+ and anything In between. He does get more buzzy whilst jumping but still not strong and nothing that isn't controllable for someone confident. He just really enjoys it! Would be great for a child who loves to jump, he's very much a point and go type that'll jump off any stride. Very careful and never stops. He has also XC schooled with previous child jumping everything. Competing: Willow's owner prior to the nervous child did everything with him from PC, XC, Showjumping etc. He has jumped round an 80cm course with us. Not bothered by fillers. Would be very quick against the clock if his rider wanted him to be and would no doubt turn on a sixpence if asked. In addition to this, he'd also take to dressage competitions, mini ODEs. Other: He is good to clip, shoe, load, travel, groom, pick out feet etc etc etc. The little man practically lives off fresh air, and has been turned out with large geldings with no problem.
