Dog Handler/Experienced home ONLY - Troy 6yr old male gsd

HOME REQUIRED FOR TROY - IF YOU CAN NOT REHOME PLEASE SHARE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN - THANK YOU PROFESSIONAL HANDLER - OR RETIRED HANDLER ONLY PLEASE: Troy is an amazing 6yr old male long haired german shepherd, chocolate sable in colour. He has received professional protection training and vehicle searching to go in with the mix of it. An excellent working dog if I am honest, but his age is making him alittle old now to put him into working. He would thrive if he was able to do alittle more work, or if he was able to live with a retired dog handler or maybe someone who would like to lock up property/land every night and needed a dog which would look the part and alert to anyone hanging about etc. As Troy is a rescue dog and the older dog being 6yrs, we are unable to put him into full time working, as we do rehome dogs with the police and other working authorities. Ideally Troy needs a warm loving home but have the respect that he is professionally trained. We do not want to have him put on a yard and out in the cold every night sleeping - this is not what rescue is about - but we would be more than happy if Troy was able to help his owner/handler to do alittle work for a couple of hours and then go home with his owner to a nice warm comfy bed! Troy would suit being the only dog although he only is reactive when the other dog(s) starts with him first, he can socialise with dogs if supervised and introduced slowly. With regards to cats - although he was not reactive with a few cats with a foster home, with him being ball orientated sometimes this is looked upon as prey drive by a dog, and we would suggest either outside cats or being cat free (or where the dog can not get to the cat at all). Troy is neutered, microchipped and inoculated. He has a good appetite and will be a very faithful companion which is very eager to please for the return of a play with his beloved ball! Right, thought I'd see if any of you lot were cool enough to appreciate these...! A genuine set of Walk/Dont Walk glass signs, that came from New York City. I bought them over there on holiday and brought them home in my hand luggage, and they miraculously survived! Most of the ones i saw for sale were cheap looking plastic versions, these are proper heavy glass. 24cm Wide and Tall. Don't Walk is Red, and Walk is Blue - they are designed to be illuminated from behind - you can either fashion a candle holder frame for them, or just put them on a shelf - either way, they look seriously cool. Yeah, they aren't cheap, but these aren't the sort of thing you can buy in any home furnishing shops over here. Only for sale as I'm having a huge clearout as I've just got too much stuff, I'm a bit of a hoarder! There are minor scuffs and scratches on these, to be expected as they've been working for a living! Ultra cool items for home decoration - no one else is going to have these. £45 for the pair. 4+ years of experience as a dog walker, and behaviour counselor in the UK and Australia. Dogs are my passion and I'm currently undergoing a diploma in advanced canine behaviour. The past four years have been spent walking and working with dogs, from tiny, grumpy Chihuahuas to huge and boisterous Labradors! I have plenty of experience with old, young, large, small and everything in between - all breeds and temperaments. It is my job to accommodate you and the needs of your pet, to ensure a happy, fulfilled and tired dog so that you can attend to your commitments guilt free knowing that your pooch is running free and content under the watchful eye of an experienced and fully insured dog walker. Due to popular demand, I now have two dog walking sessions and walk in packs like the one in my picture. (This was towards the end of the walk and the dogs were pooped!) This gives them time to play with others in a comfortable way and also helps to socialise young or nervous dogs. Dog walking sessions are from 8am - 10am and from 11am - 1pm. This is two hours per walk, and I charge only £10 for a full two hour walk, including collection from and return to your home and cleaning and drying if necessary! We walk all over Cornwall, from the woods, to the beach, to quarries, fields, quiet wooded paths. I have a large estate car and carry water, treats and leads in case they are needed.
