Fabulous hand-made Persian rug Moud wool and silk - 295 x
Welcome to Passion d'Orient: Moud is a town in the Khorasan region. The items produced in this two are nearly always decorated with a close-set series of tiny Herati patterns, sometimes interrupted by a large central round medallion, and sometimes over the whole surface. The background is usually beige to contrast with the blue used for the borders, and the brown. Another motif in the design, which is made even though it is more rare, is the classic checked motif from the Bakhtiari tradition, but undertaken with much more delicacy in comparison with these, also using silk to highlight certain details. For this type of design, very bright and brilliant colours are used. Finally, in terms of materials, the highest quality wools are used, these wools come from local herds.Manufacture: Hand-knotted Size: 295 x 220 cmApproximate thickness: 8 mm. Age: circa .
