We are about to start rehoming our next batch of hens, collections to start in around 2 weeks. We rear all our hens from day old and keep them in our flock for around 18 months. We have warrens at 2.50 and a few white stars at 2.75 each. Our hens are robust and healthy and still laying. Some have feathers missing but they will grow back in time. They are 17 months old and will still be laying (although we cannot guarantee individual hens will lay). These hens will be coming from a barn system and have never set foot outside. Sadly due to changes in my personal circumstances I have had to close my chinchilla rescue and must find loving homes for approximately 20 of my little friends.
