CLASSIC ANTIQUE VINTAGE OLD EVINRUDE 18HP FASTWIN LONGSHAFT OUTBOARD MOTOR FOR SPARES OR REPAIR

This is an elderly Evinrude 18hp Fastwin outboard motor. Been stored for quite a while being sold as spares or repair and not running. It does turn over with good compression and spark on both cylinders. It might be possible to get it running but will need looked at and probably the carb stripped down,cleaned and checked over. The gear change lever operates and seems to engage the prop in forward, neutral and reverse. The hood is there but the there is a bit of fibreglas missing where the locking pin would be. Should not be difficulte to rivet a plate in place and fit a pin on it. The catch lever operates OK. Parts for these must be getting hard to find so if you have one of these this would provide a great source of spares. It can be seen in North Glasgow. Ad ID:

This Mariner 25hp Twin cylinder 2 Stroke has only had around 5 hours fresh water use only from new so comes in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically, slight marking to hood sticker on the port side but other than that is an excellent example, it is tiller control for both throttle and gears, starts and runs perfectly and comes complete Genuine Mariner with fuel tank and fuel line.
