Very good condition Vintage Ercol armchair and footstool. Please see pics which show light use, even on the armchair arms - webbing in good condition, with some 'fraying' on the footstool webs. This is a pre-war and very rare ercol fireside arm chair. Very collectable and structurally sound. The original springs are intact and tight. This chair had brand new bespoke cushions (from John Lewis) 10 years ago, now a little light-faded. It is perfectly usable (and really comfortable) as a chair straight away but ideally looking for someone to restore the upholstery and leather as a project to bring it back to its full glory.
