Equilibrium Therapy® Magnetic Chaps can be worn in the stable to help horses and ponies that suffer from arthritis or are recovering from injury by increasing blood flow, reduce filling and promote faster healing in horses’ legs. They are also ideal for horses with tendon problems, splints, navicular, bone chips and general knocks, bumps and scars. Hard wearing, lightweight and breathable, each chap has two VITAflex® magnets contained within pillow pouches which adhere to the lining of the chaps, allowing positioning of the magnets exactly where required. The Magnetic Chaps can be used overnight or during the day in the stable (not designed for turnout). The EQUILIBRIUM Therapy® range uses clinical grade VITAflex® magnets, which present both positive and negative poles to the body and thereby encourage the constant repelling or attracting the blood cells, making them highly effective at keeping cells in an active regenerating state. In addition, the VITAflex® magnets have a heat insulating structure in the form of extremely thin gold or platinum coloured aluminium reflectors.
