Gibson SG – Reissue/Tribute, with vibrola

Great guitar from the Gibson stable, the Gibson SG, body and neck crafted from Grade-A mahogy, usual double-cutaway style with bevelled edges. Great  playing comfort, and resonance and sustain.  Grade-A dark rosewood fingerboard with a traditional look and feel, two PAF-style ’57 Classic humbucking pickups, and historically accurate plastics. Guitar is finished in high-gloss Heritage Cherry finish nitrocellulose, giving this guitar a great vintage feel, despite it being a re-issue. Pickups are period accurate PAF-styled humbuckers ’57 Classics, both  neck and bridge positions.  Alnico II magnets, wound with 42-AWG enamel-coated wire. Additionally, the coils are wax potted to combat micro phonic squeal. SH-PG1B. . Although it is very difficult to see as there is not a lot of room to move the pickups about without desoldering them. I do not have the original pick ups anymore. Machine heads are replacement Grovers. There are a few tiny dings and marks on the front that are very difficult to photograph and some normal buckle rash on the back but nothing really which detracts from the guitar. Epiphone Les Paul w/ Seymour Duncan JB / Jazz Pick Ups

Reluctantly selling my Epiphone Les Paul Standard. I love this guitar but really only get to strumming it in the sitting room maybe once every 4 weeks or so for 5 - 10 minutes. The guitar is about 12 years old, was gigged extensively for the first few years but not been out since. Everything is in good working condition, however the top bit of the pickup selector broke off many moons ago but will supply a replacement along with the guitar or will replace before selling if requested. The guitar has a good few marks and scratches as expected in a gigged guitar. But it's all superficial as it plays and sounds beautiful. I fitted Seymour Duncan JB SH - 4 and Jazz SH - 2N pickups in the bridge and neck respectively. Les Paul (cherry burst) - Seymour Duncan P/ups and Bigbsy Trem (Epiphone by Gibson)

Epiphone Les Paul by Gibson Gorgeous cherry sunburst - other than one ding on the bodywork (see the photos), the maple top really does have a lovely finish... real depth to the figuring. I've played a few epiphones and this one really is top-end. Proper set neck (no bolts here!), solid mahogany body, rosewood fingerboard... it plays beautifully and has a great tone. It's got (professionally installed) Seymour Duncan pickups: a ’59 in the neck, a JB in the bridge – a classic combination! (combined RRP £150 approx). The JB is marketed as the 'ultimate hot-rodded humbucker' (and it really sings), while the '59 is very versatile with a full low end. It came with an epiphone-branded B5 style Bigbsy which I had switched out (professionally) for the Bigsby B70 you see in the photos (RRP £150 approx) Sold with padded gig bag (which needs a stitch or two on one of the seams, but does the job). For sale is my Epiphone Custom Shop SG Pro with a hardcase. Only of these TV Silver SG Pros were made and this is number 597! I purchased it in and has only been used a few times. Its been setup with very nice low action with 9 - 42 Fender light strings. Like the other Epiphone SG pros it features coil tapping that allows the humbuckers to sound like P90s.
