Beautiful guitar but I'm too used to Fenders now. All electrics are perfectly fine and the guitar is set up great. Has two small lacquer cracks in neck below the nut, purely cosmetic though. I can send pictures. Guitar has been examined by professionals and confirmed to be in perfect working order with no cracks in the wood. regrettable sale of my ES Dot, funds needed so guitars have to go. This is an absolutely amazing which was the first run of Epiphone Dots, you will not find a nicer one! Fabulous cherry red finish allowing the grain of the wood to come through, it is mint with no play wear having been in its case for some considerable time. This is a made in Korea Epiphone, produced at the highly regarded Sammick plant and is absolutely worlds apart from the modern version of this guitar. More on par with a Japanese Elitist series. Epiphone Dot guitar made in Indonesia. In natural finish. I received this guitar as a 40th birthday present brand new and although I appreciated the gift its just not my style of guitar. It has basically been in the case since and was only strummed lightly on my knee at home a couple of times. I more a les Paul guy. That said it does have a great sound to it and it's in perfect as new condition basically as I cannot find a mark on it. This was bought brand new about 4 months ago but has only been played once for about 20mins in the house. It still has its price tag, guarantee card and stickers. The guitar majors on versatility: vintage humbuckers with coil-taps and a beautifully proportioned neck. You can get a wide variety of tones and textures. It is a fabulous guitar but I just can't fall in love with it; I sit and stare at it - admire it, even - but I just don't want to play it. I'm afraid I don't have a hard case but can offer it is a padded Warwick Rock soft case. The cheapest you can get these guitars brand new is the £379 I paid for it - some places are even asking more.
