Hello, thank you for looking at my listing. I bought this fire new from B&Q. I took it out of it's box ready to be put up while I was decorating the living room because our fireplace broke down and to modernize it a bit.. Because we rent our house thru a housing company they offered to replace the fireplace for free as it was covered. At the time I didn't realize and had already got rid of the box so was unable to return it to B&Q. I planned to put it up in the bed room or spare room as a sort of second living room but it was one of those jobs that never happened. It has never been used apart from turning in on to check it works and has never been hung. It has since just been sat in the spare room collecting dust. The fire can still be bought from B&Q for RRP £154 - just go to the B&Q website and search for product code The reason for the low price is because I could do with it out of the way now. There is one slight issue. Because it has just been sat in the spare room. The fan makes a bit of a squeaking noise when turned on. I think it just needs a little WD40 on the fan which can be accessed thru the back without opening it. I haven't got any at home but I did have some compressed air in a can for cleaning my computer keyboard. I blasted some of that at it and it is 80% better. I think it's just got a little dry and dusty sitting there and just needs lubing up. This only makes a noise when the fan is turned on. The fire otherwise works perfectly when turned on.
