Beautifully fitting in soft English leather. 17" seat and a gullet that be altered by a trained saddler - currently fitted as a narrow/medium. This saddle in in excellent condition and recently checked over by my master saddler. Selling as I only ever ride in a dressage saddle now and this is too good to sit in the tack room.

17 inch narrow fit black English leather GP saddle by I B Andrews Saddlery, Walsall.  Padded knee rolls, thigh rolls, spring tree, cut back.  Very slight superficial scuff mark on cantle, otherwise very good condition and stitching all sound.  Complete with stirrup leathers and 5" stainless steel irons with rubber treads. Only selling as I have given up. Will despatch by courier, or cash on collection welcome.

Nicely balanced GP saddle made by Thorowgood English leather, with synthetic seat Measures 10"D to D  approx and 4.5"in the entrance to the gullet, where the saddle sits either side of the withers From stirrup bar to end of saddle flap is 15,5" Seat approx. 10.5" Good condition Good condition, not perfect, but sound and smart looking Girth straps ok, moveable and easily replaced when necessary Not perfect as its a used saddle..but I'd be happy if I bought this saddle for this price:) There are no rips or tears, small nick and blemish on pommel...and slight fading on seat, not noticeable unless searched for  Would be ideal for thoroughbreds as has a well cut back head and as a narrow medium is a normal fitting for a Thoroughbred will clear withers well I do not accept returns, but price my items so they can be sold easily at the same price or higher...In the event of any problem, please contact me before leaving feedback...feedback is important to me..any questions, please do ask I usually send via next day or 48 hr delivery services, but am happy to send via snail courier if desired at lower cost:) Thank you

this saddle although lacking a makers mark is a beautifully made quality english leather saddle (which no doubt cost a small fortune back when it was made) it is 17.5 inch in length and approx medium/med-wide fit (8in d to d or about 5.5in between the saddle cushions at the front.) it is showing some signs of its age with a few scuffs and marks on the leather and does have the name dandy faintly marked into the back of the cantle (see picture) but i cannot stress enough the quality this saddle is despite its age - not one for the show ring for obvious reasons, but years and years of useful life left in it - the perfect buy for hacking and use at home.
