Elna Supermatic vintage sewing machine, ready to stitch

This Elna straight and zig-zag stitch sewing machine is around 60 years old but is cosmetically clean and tidy, and more importantly is in full mechanical working order. The machine comes packed in its original metal carry case, which splits in half and cleverly doubles as a table (see final image, also notice the rust along the case edges), along with foot pedal, and a photocopy of threading/bobbin winding instructions. A zig-zag pattern cam/disc is also included, and more can be purchased from a certain online auction site that enable the machine to produce various decorative stitches too. Downsides: The paint has worn through in a couple of places (visible in the pictures). There's a small chip in the bakelite of one corner of the foot pedal. The metal case has rust around its edges, and the locking catch on it has been replaced by a bolt. Any questions, please get in touch. Read more
