Ibanez Artstar- archtop Jazz Guitar Semi-acoustic

Moving house and having a clearout. A Korean Ibanez Artstar AF 120 in a very attractive sunburst. I've played it through an amp recently and the electrics are working. Comes with hard case. Please see photos for condition Please note there are some imperfections as follows: 1.There are no dents or chips. But plenty of cosmetic small marks/scuffs to the guitar's body, from being played over time. One scratch to paintwork on the underside of the guitar (see photo), along with a missing nut for the strap (this could be replaced). 2. The scratchplate is missing a small nut, which needs to be replaced to fix it more securely. 3. Hard case has one slightly stiff latch that needs some attention, I'm sure it could be fixed. It does close with some encouragement. The case has a few scuffs and small chips. Collection either from Walthamstow, or Romford in East London. Burns Jazz Split Sound electric guitar

This is a beautiful old Burns Jazz Split Sound which I have owned for 53 years. I bought it in from Bill Greehalgh’s music shop in Exeter when I was at St Luke’s College and have owned it ever since. It was made in either or and apart from one pot (see picture) it is entirely original. It has not been resprayed or refretted. I was never a fully pro musician but like many, did some amateur work along the way. The result is, fortunately for the guitar, quite light use (the majority at home) and some good care from me. The guitar bears the marks of a very long life but nothing serious as you can observe from the images. A few years ago, I made a new scratchplate so that the guitar could be used as a synthesiser if required. I did it such a way that the original guitar body was not modified or altered any way and, as may be seen from the pictures, it has now been restored to its original configuration. The Roland synthesiser comes as part of the package. It’s about ¾ hour’s work to change the scratchplates over and an extremely simple procedure because I made it that way. The guitar comes with a generic hard case. I have 31 images in total so if you need/want/would like to see more, please just ask. I will answer any sensible questions within 24 hours or sooner. The guitar is sold collection only and the buyer will pay cash on collection. I am happy to provide a full receipt. I will not accept payment via paypal. This is a huge advantage to the buyer because it means they get to have a good look at the guitar before parting with any hard earned cash. Read more

I can teach any kind of music and playing style for bass, and selected play styles for guitar. I can also provide teaching on how to properly take care of your instrument, eg. cleaning, tuning, buying and changing strings etc. I also have 4 years experience of learning bass and guitar theory, so if wanted, I can include that in the lessons.
