Do you have an LG 42SL  if so has it developed one of these faults: TV dead no standby led   If so you need your tv power supply(psu) repairing (board number EAY), this will cost £100+ at a Tv repair shop, why not repair it yourself and save £££. Have you ever used a soldering iron or know someone who can?? then this is probably ok for you. The kit comes with two components some solder and desoldering braid, full step by step instructions are supplied on two sheets of A4 paper including photographs, you will need to have a soldering iron, wire cutters, screwdriver and a faulty TV!!  I am a fully qualified tv engineer with over 20 years experience, I have repaired many of these psu's and to me this is a very easy repair, I know that if you have adequate soldering skills and follow these instructions you too can perform this repair.
