Jessie Ann Richardson (cello) and Lynn Carter (piano) are building their career and becoming established in the music world. Jessie is both a soloist and chamber musician and has won many prizes in both fields. She came to East Bergholt recently with the Piatti Quartet and so her return is very welcome. Lynn is in great demand as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher. Chamber Philharmonic Europe was founded in Cologne. A group of 10 soloists from the orchestra will be performing at East Bergholt Church. The orchestra engages highly talented young musicians from eighteen European nations. It has outstandingly high artistic standards which have been consolidated in their many concerts and festivals, and also widely affirmed by press and critics. They have toured the UK on several occasions attracting fine reviews from local societies and the press. A new and exciting chamber music group has been formed by three highly experienced and internationally renowned musicians to explore the repertoire of the baroque music for violin, viola da gamba and harpsichord. They take their name from the magnificent Sonnerie de Ste Geneviève du Mont-de-Paris by Marin Marais. Programme includes music by Purcell, Handel, Rameau, Pepusch, Finger, Marais, Morel and Rebel.
