Small writing bureau in the Georgian style. Original brass filigree handles, brass hinges and locks. Leather inlay on writing slope, interior has compartments and 2 small drawers with brass button handles. Cabriole legs. A lovely little piece which would be ideal for a home office, under the stairs or in a hall way. Clean with no wood worm. Have been trying to sell at an auction house but what with all the extra costs and fees of an auction room it is leaving me with very little, so the price I am asking is about what I'd be left with after costs. Small Edwardian/Early 20th Century Bureau

This is not just another boring brown piece of furniture as some have said. This is a small Edwardian/early 20th Century bureau. It is made of solidmahogany and solid oak. There are no veneer panels so you won't get any lifting or splitting. It is completely sound and has never had any worm. It has 3 drawers which all have original filigree handles which are brass. Inside there are 5 stationery compartments with 2 small drawers which each have a small bun shaped handle also in brass. There is a leather inlay inside the lid for handwritten correspondence. The hinge arms and other hinges are also brass. The top slope rests on two very sturdy arms which come out when the top is lowered. The drawers have hand cut dove tails and each of them have dust excluders inside. There are brass locks on the top of each drawer but sadly no key. The legs are either Queen Anne or cabriole. This bureau is small enough to go into a home office and can comfortably accommodate a lap top. It has had a few knocks over the years but nothing that can't be restored with some TLC. It was given to my Grandparents as a wedding gift when they married in . It has been in my family for 4 generations. I have no space for it in my house and no one else in the family wants it. Lovely dark wood bureau, handmade in America in the early twentieth century. This rustic piece is a wonderfully compact, space-saving desk that can also serve beautifully as an accent piece in an entryway, dining room, lounge, or hall. Its simple lines and irregular staining carry all the character of an item made by hand for one's own home. There are even still light guidelines visible, where the craftsman measured to attach the different pieces together! Some scuffs and marks commensurate with age. Could easily be adapted to a different look simply by substituting different drawer handles. Antique teaset early 20th century

This is a bone china teaset from the Star china (Paragon china company of Stafford). It was made around . Comprising of 12 cups (1 damaged), 12 Saucers, 12 side plates, 2 Sandwich/cake plates, 1 milk jug, 1 sugar bowl (damaged). The damaged cup and sugar bowl were damaged during WW 2 when the Germans bombed Bournemouth. The teapot was also damaged beyond repair. Really nice violin. Was restored around 10 years ago by top Scottish violin maker. Professionally set up and restrung recently with Dominant strings. Has usual scratches and marks typical for an instrument of this vintage but other than than is in great condition. Plays and sounds very nice.
