Click here to view this lot Al Columbia started as Bill Sienkiewiczâs assistant, and worked on the prestigious book Big Numbers, written by Alan Moore.However, he left the project, after having destroyed all the work he did for Big Numbers 4.Doghead is his first solo work. He is best known for his The Biologic Show and Pim & Francie: The Golden Bear Days.He is a cult figure, not only for his very low production of high quality, but also because he often disappeared without a trace and was unreachable. "Whatever happened to Al Columbia?" became a standard question on comic boards and forums. This page has stuck-on text, marker pen changes, and 3 painted panels. A typical Al Columbia work. 2 pieces were glued on, this is only visible on the back. Partly (upper panel) a text sheet was glued over it.
