Piano / Vanity / Dressing Table Stool – solid wood, robust base – re-upholstery project * Please note, if this listing is still showing then the item is available. *A solid and robust wooden vintage/antique stool *For a piano seat or in front of a vanity or dressing table *In need of re-upholstery for the cover and seat – I had intended to do this but have so many other things waiting I've had to have a cull. *It is a simple introductory project for a beginner and intermediate, or just someone wanting to have a chance to get into upholstery and revive a lovely piece of furniture. *The base of the stool (legs, frame etc) is very solid which is what you want for any re-upholstery project. It is solid but do note in photo that one of the brace wood parts in one corner/leg is missing. It doesn't make and difference to the solidity but just to highlight. *The legs are in need of a little TLC, just as a used item before they are a bit scuffed, but nothing is deep, either left or sanded back and re-stained. The base though is robust *The seat area – the strapping underneath has just stretched and the seat therefore sagged a bit. This can be stripped back easily, new webbing, new innards and the re-covered. Ad ID:
