Gross weight: 80 g Mechanical hand-wind movement. It was serviced by a master watchmaker and works perfectly. The Assay Office of Birmingham was founded in to provide testing and hallmarks on items made of precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, and palladium), as required by the Hallmarking Act. On the bottom of the case, the anchor represents the Assay Office of Birmingham, the lion represents sterling silver, the W.R. corresponds to the producer William Ryley, and the letter "T" corresponds to the year.
