‘Doofus’ Irish sports horse/hunter

For sale ‘Doofus’ 16.2 aprox irish sport horse. 8yrs Gelding Doofus has been my personal project for the last 5/6 months and is now fully tested and ready to go to nice new suitable home. Doof has done all fun rides, and out with the flint and Denbigh, even been on camping/trekking break in the mountains with me! jumps all manner of materials keenly now. Fun forward horse, snaffle mouth, mannerly standing and waiting for the off. Leads, follows... can be a little more spooky hacking alone like most horses. Jj is a gorgeous Irish sports horse 12 year old gelding 15.2hh, he is excellent in traffic & excellent on his own or in company, I tend to ride more alone & he is very confident. He needs a confident rider as he does get excited at times, however nothing silly or stupid. He can pace at times if very excited but on the whole he’s a gentleman. I have hunted & completed various fun rides & he was great fun. He is good to catch box shoe or clip. He prefers to live out but will stable if required he is very low maintenance & has a full passport. Only selling due to change in circumstance which leaves me very little time. Jj is a bay gelding 15.2hh, he is super to handle on the ground good to shoe clip & box lives in or out but is happier to live out all year round, very low maintenance horse. He is not a novice ride & needs a confident rider not someone inexperienced or looking for a first horse. He is excellent to hack out alone or in company brilliant in traffic & does not spook but he is forward going & does get very excited. I have hunted him & done plenty of fun rides which he was brilliant at but the down side to hunting it he got so excited he struggled with all the standing around. He is quite green to school as I mainly hack out, but would make someone a great fun horse. He does have a tendency to pace when excited but not a nasty or malicious horse at all, I’m only selling due to lack of time as he is too good to be left in field.
