DMM Cirque Ice Axe 60cm

T rated mountaineering ice axe. Seems to be the UK standard and with good reason. I'm 6ft and the length is perfect as a walking axe, the curve is useful for daggering and I have used it paired with a technical axe for grade III climbs just fine. Sharp pick and spike and dare I say decades of life left in it yet! Few scrapes but it is a mountaineering axe... Reluctant to sell this! DMM Cirque Walking Axe 60cm, with wrist leash. Only used a few times. Winter is back in Scotland! So now's a great time to get an ice axe and go winter walking! No damage on the pick or adze, just a few surface marks on the shaft, and a few scuffs on the ferrule/spike, nothing major (all marks can be seen in photos). It has self amalgamating tape around top of the shaft and an undamaged rubber sheath at the bottom to stop your hands getting too cold when daggering/swinging it. A fast placing screw with super sharp teeth to gain that crucial first bite into the ice. High quality machining and materials makes for ultra smooth placement and retrieval, while the forged handle/hanger is designed to work in the palm of the hand when winding. The inside of the tube also had to be honed to a mirror finish to minimise any frictional resistance when it is being wound into the ice.
