Used Byte sailing dinghy for sale (similar to Topper). Would suit younger beginner. Good condition

This fun little dinghy was purchased by us second hand for our son, who has now grown to 6'1" and wants to take on something bigger. The Byte is very similar to the Laser, (designed by the same person) but smaller and lighter and with the mainsheet and traveller in the middle of the boat, hence easier to sail. The dinghy is in good condition, with only a few scuffs and some minor gel coat repairs to the underside collected over the years. The mainsheet blocks and rope are new and all rigging is present and correct. Not shown in the photos due to the windy conditions but included is the sail and batons. The folding launching trolley is also available. The great thing about the Byte is that the hull is 3.7m long and weighs around 45 kg, so is easily lifted upside down onto the roof rack of a standard car (my wife takes the sharp end and I take the blunt end). The trolley then goes upside down on the hull and the boom and mast sections can be tied alongside the hull. The whole thing may then be secured with ratchet straps and bungees. We have had great fun with the Byte in a variety of locations, including taking it to the West coast of Ireland on the roof of the car for the last few summer holidays. This would be the ideal purchase for a young teenager who is looking for a bit of excitement. I have been able to sail it 2 up with my son - it is a bit of a squeeze but perfectly possible for a bit of basic instruction or if a couple of smaller sailors want to mess around on it together once they know what they are doing. Laser dinghy, complete with all associated equipment - for sale on behalf of my father. This Laser would make an ideal starter boat. Owned from new (approx 28 years) and never been raced. The sail number . This Laser is being sold complete - it's ready for it's new owner to hitch it up to a car and tow it to the water to have some fun. The sale includes all of the following equipment: Galvanised road trailer, (tyres pumped up and ready to go!) galvanised launch trailer + plastic launch trailer. Vehicle number board. Spare wheel for road trailer. Breathable boat cover, (approx 3 years old) centreboard, rudder, padded foot strap, spars, main sheet / downhaul and all other ropes etc. Also sold with the boat are three buoyancy life jackets, a throwline and boat spares. There's some superficial scratches on the hull, but it's generally in good condition for it's age and has had only light use. The sail size in 3.8, and although not stiff like a brand new sail, it has no frays or tears. Everything works and the hull is watertight. Our last outing was in Poole Harbour last October - as shown in the photo. This is a reluctant sale, but the boat's had very little use in recent years. BOAT TRAILER SUIT SAILER, SPEEDBOAT, DINGHY, YACHT WITH TRAILER BOARD, WINCH AND SPARE WHEEL

This is a boat trailer which is now surplus to my requirements. It carried my 14 ft boat but might take a bit bigger boat. It is ten feet from the jockey wheel to the axle. It comes with traailer board and winch which is not attached. It has a locking hitch and there is a spare wheel but the tyre would need to be put on it. I used it to tow my 14ft two berth saing boat from Selsey to Glasgow a round trip of about 900 miles. Towed several times after that with no problems. I have just given it a wire brush with a drill and a fresh coat of paint. It is near Glasgow city centre and I could deliver it for free up to ten miles as long as it was all paid for first.
