Very well looked after brown leather Dever saddle. I've had this saddle for nearly 5 years, I've just bought a Dressage saddle for my boy so have decided to sell my Dever. Recently reflocked, stitching & girth straps all in good condition. It came with a mark on the seat but it's very faint, and there are some scuff marks along the back of the cantle, again it came with them and doesn't affect use. It's an extremely comfortable saddle, I've competed up to Elementary in it, jumped up to 1.20m courses, done several full days hunting, it's been to the BRC Championships in Lincoln 3 times and Hartpury once, I've competed in Working Hunter & shown at County level in it. It's a proper GP and very useful saddle. Had my saddler that fitted my dressage saddle check it out, stitching is all in good order, girth straps are sound, tree is sound and it shouldn't need reflocked again for a number of years (depending on use and storage) Any questions please just ask. Welcome to my listing. Please take an extra note of the terms at the bottom as there very strict and if you do not wish to stick to them PLEASE do NOT buy.   Right in this listing:   English leather GP made by Peter Dever a well-known saddler for making superb quality saddles, size inch brown   In reasonable condition for a well-used saddle, spring tree is 100% sound. Really Nice comfortable wide-open seat with good size knee blocks offers the jockey lots of support. Nice wide panels on the underside will spread the riders weight over the horses back evenly.   Measures approx 8 inches d-ring to d-ring I would say it’s a medium to medium-wide fit but you can decide for yourself. SEE PHOTOS.   Lovely quality English leather. Girth straps are in well used condition but still usable however on one side the 3rd girth strap unfortunately got broke however you can still girth up on 1st & 2end fine, although if you did get it replaced its not that expensive to do so, any master saddler should be able to do this.   Otherwise shows normal signs of use as you’d expect from a well used saddle such as some rubbing where stirrup leathers have been/small marks hear and there/scratches, some fading to the leather where riders leg has been & on seat. But all in all I’d say its still in very useable condition, there extremely well made saddles. Perfect for a backing/starter or everyday saddle that’s much better made than others at this price and that your horse will thank you for!   The front pommel leather has a small spilt in a couple of places right at the front, purely cosmetic but again shown in photos.   PLEASE VIEW photos ALL cosmetics are shown   Bargain price.   AGAIN please ONLY bid if you agree to all terms in listing description ONLY!
