You are bidding on a vintage jewelry box by R&Y Augousti of Paris. The box is covered by what looks like  a black reptile scale/skin and it has metal handle with carved skin like design to match the box. The box is made from wood that looks like Oak and has a inner removable black velvet insert.  The bottom as the brand signature and is written in gold but very hard to see. The box measures 5'' x 5'' x 2'' (4.5'' to top of handle).  The scales are still in great condition and it footed to protect the bottom.  This is a great find and nice addition to any collection. Blue lizard skin with suede inside lining. This bag is in excellent condition. There is some wear to one corner and a scratch to the base of the bag. The strap is intact, the zip on the interior pocket still works and so does the clasp. There are a couple of very light age spots marks on the lining. Medium sized bag, measures approx. 27cm x 18cm, x 6cm, strap measures approx. 40cm. There is one compartment with one zipped pocket lined in blue fabric and two open pockets that side and one other open pocket on the other side. The fittings are gold tone, with a secure push clasp The bag is fully lined in pale suede. Inside the bag has two large open pockets (one divided into two sections) and a larger zipped pocket. This musical box has been used.  It has a pirouetting ballerina who dances to the theme from "Love Story". It is in full working order, the wind up key mechanism is all correct. Made in China, by a company called TOYO (stamped on the metal key). All the hinges are brass. This is made out of plastic, made to look like wood, copying a traditional style. The hinged, mirrored lid lifts up to reveal the ballet dancer, (who pops up via a bending spring mechanism), and there is a red lined compartment. There are left & right magnetised, hinged, mirrored compartments, each having a 3 hook hanging arrangement.  There are 2 pull out, red lined drawers.  The top drawer is fixed. The box is coloured in a mahogany colour, and the handles are gold coloured. It measures 7" high x 7" wide x 4.5" deep.  Solid construction. There are a few tiny marks, due to use. A nice collectable box. From a smoke free home. Thank you for looking.
