T his Auction is for a Hand-Made Wooden "Priest" or Game Despatcher T his priest (apparently so called because it administers the last rites!) is made of recycled hardwood, probably ash, but I'm not 100% sure. Hand made by an elderly local gentleman (who has been a shooting man all his life) to his own design. Never been used, brand new E ach one of the priests he makes is unique, he always fashions them with a slight difference in size, shape or design, so no two are ever quite the same. This one has a used  and completely inert shell case capping it off. It measures just over 8.5 inches long and an inch and a quarter across at its widest point. Unweighted, but substantial enough to do the business quickly and humanely on most species of fish or game. Fitted with paracord wrist strap. I deal Christmas stocking-filler or the shooting man or lady!
