Handmade by Stroud Saddlery. Only for sale as surplus to requirements. Never worn. In absolute mint and pristine condition. Paid £75 each for them to be made. THIS SADDLE ARRIVED WELL PACKED AND IN GOOD SOUND ORDER BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY MEASURED IT AS 17"...DOESN'T MEASURE 17" ANYWAY YOU MEASURE IT.....BUT THE CORRECT WAY FROM STUD TO MID CANTLE IS A GENEROUS 17.5".......IT HAS A SLIGHT CUT BACK POMMEL....IT IS WIDE AND 9.5" TO EDGES OF SADDLE BETWEEN D's BUT THEY ARE LOW...WHERE IT COMES IN TO CONTACT WITH PONY AT FRONT PADDING IS 5.5...6"......GULLET IS WIDE BUT NOT QUITE SO MUCH TO BACK END I HAD A SADDLER CHECK IT AND HE SAID IT IS FINE..MAYBE NEEDS FLOCKING SORTED TO CANTLE END......THE CANTLE HAD A SPLIT AND IT WAS OBVIOUS A HORSE HAD BITTEN IT AS PREVIOUS OWNER STATED....I HAD A SADDLER STITCH A 2.5" SEAM ON SEAT AND THE CANTLE JUST TO MAKE GOOD AND STOP IT GOING FURTHER...IT LOOKS A BIT UNTIDY AT CANTLE END...(SOME POLISH WILL HELP DARKEN IT)AND YOU WILL NEED A NICE SEAT SAVER.... THIS SADDLE IS FINE FOR EVERYDAY...NOT SHOW RING! ALL LEATHER IS GOOD JUST NORMAL SLIGHT COSMETIC THINGS BUT ONE OF THE GIRTH STRAPS HOLES LOOK A LITTLE STRETCHED...REST ARE FINE....YOU WON'T NEED TO SPEND MUCH ON IT...MAYBE OTHERSIDE OF SEAT WILL NEED A STITCH BUT OK AS NOW...AS LONG AS YOU UNDERSTAND IT WILL NEED SEAT SAVER AND EVERYDAY USE SADDLE FLAP IS 14" FROM STIRRUP BAR....CASH ON COLLECTION TO SAVE ME ON FEES PLEASE

Measures approx 17" so a full size and can be finished with either brown or black pvc ends. I use the pvc ends as they are less maintenance, no need to oil! Browbands can be made to order, please message me for details As with any tack it is not recommended you leave your horse unsupervised whilst wearing its bridle. Beads can become damaged if your horse rubs against a wall or catches its head on an object, safety first! Xx
