I have for sale a used, but in excellent condition 17" Thorowgood T4 cob saddle. Measures approximately 9" D-D and 5" on widest part of gullet panel under neath)....Used on a flat backed welsh cob. This saddle is fantastic for wide native/traditional types. I tried nearly 50 saddles, all of which rolled or just simply didn't fit. This was perfect, never moves. Has fish insert system (not available with saddle as never needed to use) allowing saddle to be altered to fit if necessary. Light weight and has been used in the show ring at county level. Because it is leather look with suede knee rolls/seat, you can't tell it is a synthetic. Straighter cut on the knee roll so does not restrict shoulders....Always kept inside and ridden with a cover on so virtually no wear to suede.   Buyer can collect if preferred or can post at cost. It has adjustable knee and thigh rolls. It also has a fully adjustable gullet.  I measured 10" from D ring to D ring.  18" from stud by pommel to middle of cantle. I am selling this so that I can buy another saddle for my new horse.  I bought this saddle under a  year ago for my 15'3 horse, sadly he had to be put down and it is not going to ever fit my new horse.  It was hardly used but obviously I can't list it as brand new.  I am happy to supply any other measurements if you require.

This is a 17" Synthetic Thorowgood High Wither T4 Dressage Saddle bought new 2 years ago for £450. It is in excellent condition - almost new as it has only been used for about 5 hours from new as my daughter's pony got a ligament injury and now just does light hacking. The saddle has been kept covered and at home so it is very clean. It is fitted with a M/W gullet bar at the moment. The gullet bars are easily changed to fit the horse. The saddle is really comfortable with suede effect seat and knee rolls and looks extremely smart. British wool flocking. There are 3 girth straps for maximum adjustability. It comes with a 22" Aerborn Waffle Humane Dressage girth and a white dressage numnah. The girth and numnah have been washed but do show signs of use. It also comes with a multicoloured fleece saddle cover. Please contact me for any further photos and to answer any questions that you might have. Saddle also available for viewing prior to the end of the auction. You are bidding to buy so I would rather answer loads of questions than you buy the wrong item.
