Thorowgood technic saddle, with cut back pommel for high withered horses measuring 9inches d to d and 18.5 in seat! This is a lovely saddle!!! I brought this saddle new for my tb mare but sadly I lost her before I got chance to use it. I held onto it with the hope it would fit one of my others but it doesn't and had just been sat in my tack room collecting dust, so finally decided to sell! Iv sat in this saddle once when it was first tried on but that's all the use its had. Due to being stored for so long it has a couple of tiny (really tiny) white spots but I'm sure if cleaned with soapy water will come off easy, there is also a little bit of a scuff/loose stitching about 1cm long on the cantle which can be seen in the picture.    GRAB YOURSELF A BARGAIN!  Please note: Saddle is sold as seen and I won't accept returns.

18" black Thorowgood Saddle in good condition. Interchangeable gullet system and currently has a black R-bar gullet in it which is a Medium size. Saddle has been used a handful of times but due to being stored away has a few minor imperfections. There are slight wear/rub marks on left side of saddle (see pictures) on the seat and saddle flap but this is very minor. Also; there is a small nick on right side of saddle flap which I believe has been developed from being stored away. Stirrup leathers included in sale but stirrup irons are not. This is a lovely little saddle that has had very little use. I swapped to bare-back pads shortly after I bought it and have never gone back - this is because my older ponies prefer the freedom of being ridden without the structure of a traditional saddle. I bought the saddle from Rideaway for £160 new. This saddle has no marks, tears or scuffs on it. It has always been protected with a cover.  The saddle is a wide - extra wide fit. The measurement between the d-rings is 8". This saddle also has additional flexibility in its fit as it uses the 'fish' system which is a series of inserts that slide into a pocket at the point of the tree on each side. I have never had to change the inserts currently in place. As it is, kids are given a nice size of knee roll to allow security whilst in their jumping position and the suede seat allows that little bit of extra 'stick-a-bility' for novice riders! This saddle was used for a pony that fits a 5'3" rug and is a native breed.  If I have missed anything out then please do not hesitate to get in touch. All the best

Still in very useable and good condition and looks lovely when cleaned up nicely. It is semi synthetic. Has some wear and tear on the underneath I.e. the straps however still attractive looking and functional. Collection only or I can deliver locally if asked first!
